the abominable church

As a confessing Christian I feel a sense of duty to oppose and condemn the plans of Westboro Baptist (I can't bring myself to type the word "church") to protest the funeral of a pregnant soldier found dead in a hotel bath tub on 21 June. I raise my voice in support of Danell Shafer and the Fort Bragg Mommies, who are organizing a protest of the Westboro abomination. I may try to make the 425-mile drive for the 16 July demonstration. May God bless and comfort Megan Touma, her unborn child, her family, and all the families and friends of those serving in our armed forces. And may God bestow mercy and forgiveness on a church that finds it hard to show God's love to everyone.
